We had a special visit today from some interesting Australian animals. The kids loved learning about a snake necked turtle,
sugar glider,
bearded dragon,
carpet python (appropriately named Julius Squeezer), blue tongued skink and a scorpion. The highlight of the assembly was the two-year-old
red kangaroo. He put on quite a show hopping around the gym with the handler hanging on tight to his tail. Check out some of the links (click on the animal name in blue above) to learn more about these amazing animals.
